The Rotary Club of Northumberland Sunrise is celebrating a milestone year after its 23rd Annual Golf Tournament sold out for the first time and raised more than $29,000 in support of community and international projects.
The tournament brought together golfers, sponsors, volunteers and community supporters for a successful day of golf and fellowship at Ash Brook Golf Club. Funds raised through the event will be directed back into Northumberland County through local charitable initiatives, while also helping support international humanitarian projects undertaken by Rotary.

The Rotary Club extended special thanks to Ash Brook Golf Club and its staff, whose hard work, preparation and hospitality played an important role in making the sold-out tournament run smoothly. From preparing the course and facilities to welcoming golfers and supporting organizers throughout the day, the Ash Brook team helped create an enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
The event was also made possible by dozens of additional Birdie, Par, special event, contest, auction and prize sponsors, along with the many Rotary volunteers and Golf Committee members who contributed countless hours before and during the tournament.
For the Rotary Club of Northumberland Sunrise, the success of the tournament means much more than a great day on the golf course. The more than $29,000 raised will translate directly into support for people and organizations in the local community, while extending Rotary’s impact beyond Northumberland through projects around the world.
With this year’s first-ever sellout setting a new benchmark, organizers are already looking forward to welcoming golfers, sponsors and supporters back next year.
